Lyceum Nuwara Eliya Session

The admin department of Lyceum International School Nuwara Eliya organized an awareness session for the students and parents of the school regarding the Cyber harassments. This was themed as “Understanding and Preventing Cyberbullyng”. Students of Advanced Level class and the parents were the targeted participants of this session. School facilitated and the teachers were also participated at the program.

Students were interested in knowing modern trends of online learning and about the ways which improve innovative skills via online platforms.

Students were briefed about the major threats on internet against children when using it. The main topic was taken in to discussion and the staff members and parents also were interested on this since they had so many points to be clarified. Students shared their thoughts on the session and some students shared their experiences and asked for solutions.

Regarding the Cyber Harassments, students and the other participants were briefed about Hithawathi help line which will be available for assistance in case of a Cyber related Harassment.
