Hithawathi participated in an online interview conducted by Management Frontiers (Pvt) Ltd, consultants for United Nations Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) as directed by the Ministry of Women, Child Affairs and Social Empowerment. The interview focused on research regarding the ‘intersection of gender and hate speech’ and was held on 30th July 2024 via Google Meets.
