An awareness session (as two slots) on Cyber safety and Hithawathi services was held on April 1st, 2025 at Uva Science College, Badulla under the initiative of “Hithawathi Teens Hub”. About 393 students, teachers and the principal participated in these sessions. At the end of the session a Cyber Quiz was asked and 5 winners were randomly selected out of those who gave the correct answer to award bookshop gift vouchers of LKR 2,000/- each. Hithawathi Teens Hub Student Leaders are supposed to be awarded a valuable certificate signed by Ministry of Education and LK Domain Registry for their contribution to create a safer cyberspace for the school community.
